How To Play

Everything between you and a hi-score: getting in with a wallet, spending credits, earning tickets by skill, and what the machine will and won't accept.

Getting In

Live

Your wallet is your login. There are no emails and no passwords — you connect a wallet, sign one message, and you're in.

  • ·Press CONNECT WALLET in the menu. Your browser wallet opens; approve the connection.
  • ·Sign the sign-in message. Signing costs nothing and moves no funds — it only proves the wallet is yours.
  • ·Pick a username (3–12 characters) and a 3-letter tag. The tag is what the leaderboards show, arcade-style: WJY, ACE, MSK.
  • ·The arcade runs on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). If your wallet is on another network, the machine offers to switch it.

The Coin — $INSRT

Live

$INSRT is the only coin the machines take. It launches through Virtuals Protocol on Robinhood Chain: a fixed 1B supply with no mint function. Every cabinet prices its credit in it. When you insert a coin, the credit splits four ways: 40% is burned forever, 30% pays the cabinet's builder, 25% refills the weekly prize pool, 5% goes to the treasury. On top of the split, Virtuals trading fees run a standing $INSRT buyback into the treasury.

Right now the arcade runs on off-chain credits while the token launch completes — your balances are real and will migrate one-for-one to on-chain $INSRT at launch.

Free Coins — The Vault

Live

The vault at /vault pays credits for showing up and playing well:

  • ·DAILY COIN — claim 3 credits every day. Keep the streak alive and every 7th day pays 8.
  • ·WEEKLY BOARD PAYOUTS — every Monday 00:00 UTC each cabinet's top 10 is paid automatically, 10 credits down to 1.
  • ·1CC BADGE STIPEND — every badge on your shelf pays 2 credits a week. Honor compounds.

At token launch the vault grows the STAKE slot: lock $INSRT to accrue daily play credits (never yield) — capped, use-it-or-lose-it, with a 3-day unstake cooldown.

Playing A Cabinet

Live
  • ·Walk the floor at /arcade. Each cabinet card shows its cost, the weekly prize pool and the top score.
  • ·On a cabinet page, press INSERT COIN. The cost is deducted and your run starts immediately.
  • ·Controls are on the machine: arrow keys to move, space to fire or serve. Click the screen first so it hears you.
  • ·A run lasts until your lives are gone — or 15 minutes, whichever comes first. Idle sessions expire.

One credit, one run. Starting a new run on the same cabinet closes the previous one.

Fair Scoring

Live

Scores are decided by the server, not your browser. While you play, the machine streams your score to the arcade and checks it against the cabinet's physics: scores only go up, jumps have limits, and the full run is hashed and verified at game over.

You don't need to do anything for this — it's why the boards are worth beating. Runs that fail the checks are voided and never reach a leaderboard.

Tickets

Live

Tickets are the arcade's payout, and they follow performance — never chance. At game over, your score is ranked against the last seven days of runs on that cabinet. Your percentile sets your tickets, on a curve the builder publishes up front.

  • ·Beat half the floor — earn a couple of tickets.
  • ·Top 10% — the curve steepens.
  • ·Top 1% — maximum payout for that cabinet.
NO DICE IN THE BUILDING. A PAYOUT IS NEVER A DRAW — ONLY A CURVE ON YOUR SCORE.

Leaderboards

Live
  • ·Every cabinet keeps two boards: WEEKLY and ALL-TIME. Your best completed run counts.
  • ·Weekly boards reset Monday 00:00 UTC. The closing board is snapshotted with its prize pool — that snapshot is the payout record.
  • ·Boards show your 3-letter tag and username. Pick a tag you want immortalized.

Weekly Floor Board

Live

On top of the per-cabinet boards there is one board for the whole floor, at /board. It ranks every player across every cabinet for the week, and the podium is paid in NFTs.

  • ·FLOOR SCORE = your best ticket haul on each cabinet this week, added up. Only your best run per cabinet counts, so playing seven cabinets well beats grinding one — breadth of skill, not volume of credits.
  • ·Ties break on 1CC clears this week, then total tickets earned, then whoever got there first.
  • ·The board resets Monday 00:00 UTC. The closing board is frozen and the top 3 are each queued a 1CC Champion NFT — gold, silver, bronze — minted to the wallet on file.
  • ·Per-cabinet weekly boards still pay their own credit prizes; the floor board is on top of those.

1CC Badges & NFTs

Live

1CC — one-credit clear — is the arcade's honor system, and it lives on Robinhood Chain. There are two 1CC NFTs and neither is ever sold: no mint page, no drop, no allowlist.

  • ·1CC BADGE — every cabinet states a clear condition (INVADERS: clear wave 3; BRICKD: clear level 2). Do it on a single credit and a badge is minted to your player card. One per cabinet per season. Soulbound: never bought, sold or moved. Each badge on your shelf pays a small weekly credit stipend.
  • ·1CC CHAMPION NFT — finish top 3 on the weekly floor board and the house mints you a numbered champion NFT (W33 · 2026, #01) to your wallet. Unlike the badge it is a normal ERC-721: hold it, show it, trade it.
  • ·Both show on your player card. Champion NFTs read QUEUED until the mint lands on chain, then MINTED with a link to the transaction.

The Prize Counter

Soon

The counter is the whole point of the tickets. 1CC Tickets are the only currency it takes, and the headline shelf is fractions of tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain — NVDA, AAPL, AMZN and other high-volume listings — priced in tickets against live Chainlink feeds. Below the stock shelf: NFT prizes and an $INSRT tier fed by treasury buybacks.

The counter opens with the token layer. Stock-token prizes vary by jurisdiction; the counter checks eligibility before redeeming. Until then: stack tickets — they carry over.

Your Account

Live
  • ·Your player card lives at /p/yourname: hi-scores per cabinet, ticket balance, badge shelf, PLAYER SINCE date.
  • ·Settings lets you change your username and tag, export all your data as JSON, or disconnect.
  • ·Disconnecting revokes the session server-side. Signing back in is one wallet signature.

When The Machine Says No

  • ·NO CREDITS. INSERT COIN.— your balance is below the cabinet's cost, or your session ended. Sign in again or top up.
  • ·TIME UP. INSERT COIN. — the 15-minute run window closed before game over. The credit is spent; coin in again.
  • ·SCORE REJECTED.— the run failed integrity checks and was voided. If you weren't cheating, it was likely a broken connection mid-run.
  • ·WRONG CHAIN. — switch your wallet to Robinhood Chain (4663) when prompted.
